Okay, I must admit, I was really bummed yesterday when Team USA lost to Ghana…a tough loss for the Red, White, & Blue! Hoping to make me feel better, Pierre invited me to watch a match with him today–Germany vs. England! Go, Go, Go…..Germany! They won!

Today Germany went up against Argentina–what a game! Germany prevailed with a score of 4-0 sending them into the World Cup semi-finals!
Interestingly, Miroslav Klose scored two of the goals, bringing his World Cup total to 14 goals. Brazil player Ronaldo currently holds the record–15 goals.

I’m more of a football (American version) frog and follow the West Virginia Mountaineers and Pittsburgh Steelers. I am caught up in this soccer craze a little bit, and I’ll be cheering on the USA! Well…and Mexico. If the winner is a CONCACAF team, it’ll be cool!
