First stop: Flameless Candles. Pretty, and frog-safe.
On to Justina’s Sweets ‘n Treats. (There was no [gulp!] Frog Soup… we checked! )
Then on to German Roasted Nuts, with Polly nestled among some yummy German Roasted Hazelnuts.
“German Roasted” refers to the recipe. According to the company website, the recipe is a blend of sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla that is heated in a copper kettle.
Cool knit hats that resemble animals. Polly found her doppelganger right away!
Wait! Her whaaaat?
Dop·pel·gäng·er: [noun] is a german word that means “alter ego”

What an awesome day!
By the way, the “famous landmarks” designation has to do with the location of the show: the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex. We’re going to do a post on that when it’s a little warmer outside!

I’ve been keeping up with things as best I can. It looks like Polly sales are doing pretty well. I love seeing the sites and reading about the adventures of all of the Polly frogs. I can’t wait to read about how warm it is in Florida. That should help some of us northerners get through another winter!

It’s a good thing that they didn’t have frog soup! You would have passed out from shock!
