Emma, Polly, Puppet Master Joe Santoro, and Friends at the Wonderment Puppet Theater in Martinsburg, West Virginia

The local puppet theater in Martinsburg, WV was showing “The Frog Prince”, so Emma, her mom and Polly #4 went to see it. Well, I must say that it was a frog lover’s heaven!! I have never seen so many “frog” things. There were frogs everywhere!!! I even got to meet the famous Kermit the Frog puppet that was signed by Jim Henson.

Can you spot me in the crowd?

Anyway, the show was very good and it was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. All the puppets were handmade as well as the set. We were given the opportunity to go backstage and see how the whole puppet show thing works and it was very cool. We are looking forward to going to see the next show, Peter Rabbit. “Hoppy” Spring!!!!!!

  1. I agree–far left! Who is the big frog with the chunky necklace on the right? He looks like he might be out of an amphibian version of Star Wars!

  2. I think you’re the one on the left. The t-shirt looks really familiar! Great post!

  3. It looks like you had a great time!

  4. I’ve been to one of Joe’s performances and he does a fantastic job with the kids, in fact, he acts like a kid himself. (That’s a compliment!) I was happy to see that he has opened his own theater…Joe knows how to have fun, and it shows in his work

  5. It was my pleasure having you all at the theater. I hope to see you all again. Keep in touch.

  6. Attended a show with my grandchildren this weekend. This place is fabulous! I am a former pre-school teacher living in a metropolitan area and have never seen any better children’s entertainment. Check it out Martinsburg area parents!
