Polly #35 at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C.

Aren't I Bearry Cute?

Today I hopped on a bus for a ride to see my friends at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington DC. I saw lots of animals including: cheetahs, zebras, red pandas, giant pandas, tortoises, prairie dogs, tigers, and some frog cousins. I also enjoyed seeing the many flowers blooming including the Japanese Cherry trees. There were lots of friends that I did not visit on this trip, but I hope to return later this year.

I like playing hide-and-seek with my cousins!


While I was there, I hopped into some of my cousins from South America. I’m a little green with envy because they are more colorful, but beauty is more than skin deep!

    It looks sounds like you had a nice time at the zoo. I think I’ll put that on my list of things to do. I like going to Washington DC, but I’ve never visited the zoo there.
