Queen of the Shoe Pile!
How did we end up with so many shoes? Maddie needed new shoes. Her feet just keep on growing. I decided to go through her shoes and get rid of all the ones that didn’t fit her. Before I knew it I was checking everyone’s closet for outgrown shoes or shoes that we just do not wear anymore. This is what I ended up with. Can you believe we had this many shoes in our house that no one was wearing? Scary. We are donating them to our church that has a community clothing bank for those in need. We are hoping our shoes have a little bit of life left in them for someone else to wear. Polly even had a few pairs to share.

You have read my mind. My girlfriend told me about the shoes for Haiti program. I have decided to donate the shoes to Irving Shoes. They will make sure they get to the people in Haiti that need them. Great idea and everyone clean out your closets.

Have you thought about donating your shoes to the people of Haiti? I know there are many organizations that are collecting items to send there in bulk shipments. I think your shoes would be appreciated. Doesn’t it feel great to clean out your closets?

This is a wonderful picture and such a nice thing for you to do. If everyone just did even something little for someone else, the world would be a much better place. Don’t you think?
