Find Out About the Ladies that Travel with a Frog
Candee and Debbie have known each other for about nine years, but it was only within the past few years that they discovered their mutual interest in travel. They have now teamed up with me, Polly the Travel Frog, on an amazing quest to visit some of the most interesting places in the world.
Candee Schneider (Polly 3) lives in West Virginia and is the mother of two teenage boys. Her husband is from Germany, and they enjoy spending as much time there as possible.
She works as a reading specialist at a local elementary school, and in her free time enjoys working on the computer, writing, gardening, biking, and spending time outdoors. Her passion is traveling and she has visited 16 foreign countries …so far!
She lived on the island of Okinawa for 3 ½ years, and also had the opportunity to spend five weeks in China teaching conversational English. One of her favorite memories was climbing the Great Wall of China. Candee also enjoys exploring the United States and is always ready to go on a road trip!
Debbie Stine (Polly 2) is a wife and mother of a college student. She now lives in West Virginia, but was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She is a registered nurse, and for the past twelve years has been working as a school nurse.
Debbie has always enjoyed traveling, but in the past ten years, has become even more passionate about it. About six years ago, she started to take groups of travelers on trips to Europe to include England, France, Switzerland, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, Greece, and Ireland.
A special highlight from a recent trip was meeting one of Queen Elizabeth’s personal guards and being invited onto the palace grounds—something the average tourist never gets the chance to do! So far she has visited 19 foreign countries, as well as touring the United States. Some of her other interests include reading, scrapbooking, photography, and crafts.
