Conwy Castle is located on the north coast of Wales in the town of Conwy.
The castle was built between 1283 and 1289 during King Edward I’s second campaign in North Wales. It defended the River Conwy and the town’s harbor.
Conwy is a small town with narrow one way streets, and still looks similar to the way it was 700 years ago.

The weather was perfect the day you were there and it makes for beautiful pictures! It’s hard to imagine that this castle, as all the others in the world, are made by hand. Imagine the man-power and time it took to build it! Amazing!

Al,
It really is an awesome castle! It has a very scenic view from high up on the walls of the castle, and just walking around the area makes you imagine how neat it would have been to actually live there! Thanks for looking at the pictures!
