Polly couldn’t resist having her picture taken with Pinocchio in Assisi. Pinocchio was carved by a woodcarver named Geppetto in a small Italian village near Assisi. Even though he was created as a wooden puppet, he dreamt of becoming a real boy, and is known for having a long nose that becomes longer when he  tells a lie.

I sure don't want a long nose like that!

  1. Dear Polly#2,
Was it fun to see Pinocchio ? How long was Pinocchio’s nose? Where did you see Pinocchio?
    From Arianna

  2. Dear Arianna,

It was fun running into Pinocchio in Assisi. I was walking by a little shop, and there he was, just sitting in the doorway. I didn’t measure his nose, but it was really long!

    Love, Polly #2
