Haylee the Ballerina and Polly
You will not believe the day I’ve had! First I went with another lady named Mrs.Shickle, she’s called a mother-in-law, whatever that means.
Anyway, she’s a very nice lady and she took me to her house and made me a new nightgown, night cap, blanket and pillow for my trip with Walker. She also put my name on my backpack! Thank you so much Nannie Shickle. She used something call a sewing machine to make all of these beautiful things. It looked really hard to me, but she was very good at it.
Then a man she called Pappy took me to “our Mrs.Shickle’s” daughter. Her name is Haylee and she is a dancer! It was so cool,I got to go to Ballerina class! Haylee even let me wear a Ballerina tutu and special shoes called pointe shoes, wow do they pinch!
I also got some special shoes that make a really neat tapping sound. They are called tap shoes. Haylee said I can go to dance school with her again sometime and wear my new shoes. I can’t wait!

A great idea for a new TV show!
I know I’d watch “Dancing With the Frogs.” Polly, Kermit, and all of the other famous frogs could compete! Polly looks like the odds-on favorite to win the ballet portion of the competition!
