CLUCK! CLUCK! CLUCK!
Giant Chicken and Polly met each other at the Pennsylvania Farm Show. A lot of people stared at them…I guess they were surprised to see a frog and chicken become friends.
Would you like to become friends with a chicken named Giant Chicken?

Thanks so much for taking the time to write to me. I love getting messages. Wow, Averi…I would really like to try ice cream with popcorn on top. It sounds delicious! Kesi and Sarah…do you think you would like it too?

If I was friends with Giant Chicken I would take him on the slide at the playground. Then we would go get ice cream together with popcorn on top!
We would have a lot of fun!

Giant Chicken is fake. He has hands. I think he is a person. Regular chickens are tiny, but Giant Chicken is big. Chickens are not bright yellow.

I would like to meet Big Chicken and Polly sitting on Big Chicken’s hands. I would like to have a snowball fight with Big Chicken, Polly, and Mrs. Schneider.

We think we would like to become friends with Giant Chicken. We would like it if Giant Chicken gave us piggy back rides. We could play the game, ‘chicken fight’ with him. We would play hide-and-seek. We would hide at the top of a tree. Giant Chicken will never find us up there. We think it would be fun to show him our toys. Giant Chicken’s favoite toy is ‘Giant Chicken’.

We want to be friends with Giant Chicken. We would like to go to the animal show with Giant Chicken. We could look at all of the cool animals there. We would see ducks, chickens, horses, cows, cats, and elephants! We would go on an elephant. At first, Giant Chicken wouldn’t want to get on the elephant because he is scared. We can pick Giant Chicken up by his tail and put him on the elephant. We would have fun with an elephant because we can ride together. Kaden said,”We can go get something to eat and drink at the end of the ride.”

We decided to become friends with Giant Chicken and Polly. We know that Giant Chicken is fake. He is a person wearing a chicken suit. Giant Chicken and Polly are our travel friends. We are going to swim together. Conner said, “We are going to do handstands in the water.”

We would love to be friends with Giant Chicken. We would like to play in the snow. We would throw snowballs at Mrs. Schneider! Polly throws snowballs at Big Chicken. Aiden said, “Watch out Giant Chicken!” We would make a snowman. The snowman would be a girl. We could make snow angels with the chicken. It would look like an angel. When we come inside,we will play checkers with Giant Chicken.

We decided that we would definitely like to be friends with Giant Chicken. We could play monster trucks with him. We could play video games with Giant Chicken. We can take a picture together. Andrea said, “I would like to play ‘Who is It?’ with Giant Chicken.” We could also play with computer games.

We took a class vote and we can’t decide if we want to become friends with Giant Chicken. One of our classmates said, “I want to have a feast and eat him!” Payton said, “No, you can’t eat him. He’s a man.” It’s funny because Giant Chicken and Polly became friends. They held hands at the Farm Show. They also hugged each other. They had a lot of fun.

We would like to be friends with Giant Chicken. We would play on the swings. We could go to the park. It would be fun to go to a carnival with Giant Chicken. We could go to the animal place and hold and pet dogs. We could go to my Pappy’s house to play games on the Wii.
