Today is my birthday. I got a toothbrush,a piggy bank, and my own Polly doll. The thing I wanted the most was to take a trip. I was able to go to G.W.’s house and to church for Awana’s. When we got home we went outside to play. G.W. showed me her cat-Lilly and then took me for a ride on the scooter.
Her sister Kelsey took me for a ride too. I loved feeling the wind in my hair. I had to be careful I didn’t lose my hat though!
Then we went to church for Awana’s. G.W. and Naomi took care of me. I said the Pledge of Allegiance and played games with them.
Now it is time to go to bed. So G.W. changed me into my pajamas and I am ready to go to her room. I am really tired from such a full day.
We have to go back to school tomorrow and I can’t wait to share with all the other children about my sleepover. I really like G.W.’s room. I would like to come back to her house and stay in her room again.
Love, Polly

I love your emails Ms. Shickle, and you too class. I love the whole school. I picked a book. I’m learning a lot about dimes. I am writing this all by myself.
WOW! You’re a Great Writer!
Hi Breonna,
Awesome job commenting all by yourself! We have been learning about money too. How many cents are in a dime? How many dimes do you need to make 50 cents?

Wow What a Fun Sleepover!
Gee Grace,
It looks like you and Polly had a great time! Polly got to do something I have never done. I’ve never had a scooter ride! I hope Polly remembered the words to the Pledge, since we say it at school everyday. Thank you for showing Polly such a fun time on her birthday!
