I was very excited to bring home Polly today from school! My Mommy was home waiting for me and she was excited to meet Polly too! Polly met my brothers and our fish, Nico.
When Daddy came home, we went grocery shopping. We strapped her in the cart and pushed her around the grocery store. Polly played Hide-N-Seek in the green peppers and she helped us pick out ice cream.
We were going to go home for dinner, but Mommy and Daddy decided to treat Polly to dinner and a movie at the Alamo in Winchester. We watched “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.” Polly had a great time, but it was getting late and we were all sleepy.
We came home and got ready for bed. I tucked Polly in right next to me to keep her safe. We had a great day!

I bet you had a hard time finding Polly in the green peppers! It sounds like everybody had a great time and had a wonderful learning experience.

Kai,
You sure had me fooled by the title of your story. I thought you meant the real Alamo in Texas! I’m glad you had a fun time with Polly and I absolutely loved the fish picture. It made me laugh out loud.

Dear Kai,
What a lucky little frog that Polly is, if I had know you were going to the Alamo I would have traded places with her! I have heard that is a great place, I want to take my family there too. That silly Polly, playing hide and seek in the green peppers. It’s a good thing watermelons aren’t in season you would never have found her. I’m am so glad you had a good time with Polly I know she had a great time with you and your family.
