The Great Wall of China
Here is Polly #14 at the Great Wall of China, about 90 minutes north of Beijing. The Great Wall was built many years ago to protect China from people from the North called Mongolians (who are now part of China.) There is a Chinese saying that if you go to the Great Wall you are a hero. That means Polly is a hero!

Thanks for writing! Mrs. Schneider has been to China, but I wasn’t with her when she went. (That makes me sad!) My friend Polly #2 is going to China this summer, and I’m looking forward to seeing her pictures. What countries would you like to visit? Have you ever been to China?

Polly and I haven’t been to able to visit South Korea yet, but we would love to spend time there. China is an amazing country. I lived there for five weeks and I taught conversational English to middle school students. Have a nice night!
